When: 13th – 19th July
Where: Coed Talylan
Over the summer we are building a dug-in greenhouse approximately 8m x 4m, sunk into an embankment to a depth of 1 – 1 .5m. The walls that rise out of this excavation will be constructed form a clay cob mixture. The reason for this design is to maximise thermal storage and stability for plant propagation.
Somthing similar to this design:
However, it’s a lot of clay to work with and we could really use some help with this. So, if you are interested in learning how to build one of these “Walapinis” feel free to come along on any one of those days in July and get stuck in. We will provide food in exchange for helping out.
If you are interested just fill in the booking form below and we’ll get back to you.
