The Agroecology Land Trust has three classes of membership. As a co-operative society every member has the right to participate in the direction of co-operative with each member having one vote.
The main community of interest members of the society who have a shared background and interest in food sovereignty and agroecology and are committed to enacting the purpose of the organisation; Colleague members take care of the day-to-day running of the co-operative and oversee the operational development of the society’s projects and other interests.
We are open to applications from prospective colleague members interested in taking on specific roles that will further the purpose of the organisation. Are you interested in starting a rural cohousing project? Do you have a project that complements our aims and would benefit from being part a wider agroecological co-operative? Persons or organisations interested in investing in the co-operative through our community share offers.
We do not currently have a community share offer open to investor members. However, if you would like to express an interest in investing in the ALT, with finance and/or property, as an investor/supporter please get in touch and we will contact you when we launch our next share offer.
Persons and organisations who are interested in actively supporting our purpose in an advisory capacity. We are currently looking for advisor members interested in assisting us with our first project at Coed Talylan. If you or your organisation have any skills or experience you feel you could offer us and would like to join the ALT as an advisor member please feel free to contact us.
