We are currently seeking new Colleague Members interested in taking on specific roles that will further our purpose as a community benefit society. Are you interested in starting a rural cohousing project? Do you have a project that complements our aims and would benefit from being part of a wider agroecological co-operative? Then why not consider becoming a member of the ALT?

Help establish new land based co-housing projects

We would like to hear from people and groups that are interested in establishing a rural cohousing project.

You have land but no people

We can help you start a co-sufficient farm on your land and help you through the planning process.

People but no land

If you are a committed group who would like to establish a co-sufficient agroecological farm we can help you get started with planning and fundraising.

Black Mountain Food Hub

We are looking for committed individuals who want to promote local organic produce by joining our Food Hub operating around the Towy Valley and the Black Mountain area. For more information visit the Black Mountain Food Hub website.

Volunteering

If you are interested in meeting us and learning more about the project we hold volunteer weekends every second weekend of the month at Coed Talylan, our first ALT farm project.

We also run specific volunteering projects (such as those through the POOSH website) throughout the year. These volunteer periods can last for anything from 2 to 3 days to a couple of weeks and are focused on achieving a particular objective. If you would like an update about these volunteering opportunities please sign up to our newsletter or follow us on facebook or twitter.
